Hey! I’m Julie and I’m so happy to meet you!
As a mom of 7 kids, it’s my passion to help homeschooling moms get the encouragement and support they need to simplify life while making their homes into a sanctuary for Him.
That may feel a little far-fetched for you, but bear with me, and let me explain.
A sanctuary is “a place set apart for a holy purpose” and what could be holier than raising up the next generation in the discipleship of the Lord? The home is one of the most purposeful places that exists on the planet…but it doesn’t always feel very holy. Often chaos rules, emotions spiral, and soon you’re sitting on the kitchen floor crying about how terrible you are as a mother. Been there…
But, here’s the thing: you are not alone in the mess and stress of home.
God is right there with you ready to meet you where you are because He’s called you into His classroom to teach you all about His nature and so much more. So, no matter where you are or how you are feeling, it is time to wipe your eyes and look higher because God wants to help lift you out of your personal pit. And I’m here to help Him do just that.
The home is one of the most purposeful places that exists on the planet…but it doesn’t always feel very holy.
This Holy Chaos serves mothers who have a heart for home and seek to serve the Lord wholly in this space, but feel stressed, overwhelmed, and lonely as they seek to follow Him in a way they have likely never seen done.
Mamas, if God has called you, He will see you through, so get ready to feel encouraged, supported, inspired, and equipped as you roll up your sleeves and begin the deepest work of all: welcoming the holy into the chaos.

How it all began…
While I was raised around religion for most of my upbringing, I never really understood or had a relationship with God until I left for the military the summer after high school graduation.
As my bus drove towards the unknown of boot camp, I quietly prayed, “Okay God, if You’re real, tell me about Yourself.” That day began the wildest journey I have ever experienced.

My husband and I met about 8 months later, married 8 months after that (we were just 20 years old), and began life as parents a month before I turned 22. Six months later we learned I was pregnant with blessing #2, so we decided I would get out of the Navy to allow me to stay home with our growing family.
Within the span of 10 years, seven beautiful souls entered our hearts and home, along with trials, struggles, and hardships.
Then, after 13 years of military service, God gave us confirmation that it was time for my husband to cut ties with the Navy and unite ourselves with Him even more. We walked through nearly 4 years of unemployment, moving into a travel trailer with our 6 (then 7) kids, and watched Him provide for us in totally unexpected ways.

During that time my husband went through a complete career change, and now our lives look very different. But no matter where, or in what, we live, my job at home has been constant since homeschooling, child training, discipleship, meals, cleaning, and home management do not just stop in the day-to-day.
I know how hard some days can be. It can feel isolating, sacrificial, emptying, and exhausting alongside of exhilarating, thrilling, joyful, and complete.
So, mama, if this sounds anything like you, you’re in good company and you are right where you are supposed to be.
Now, grab a cup of coffee or your favorite tea and join me for some chat and togetherness. You are not on this journey alone.
Shalom.
~ Julie
