I don’t know about you, but the life of mom has not been the easiest experience for me. Actually, at first it was great. The first few years were truly enjoyable and generally great, but as babies continued to come and personalities began to develop, and especially when auto-immune conditions entered into my life, everything changed for me.
Nothing has challenged me to grow in character as much as the relationships developed at home. As a mother, I have had (read “while fighting every step of the way”) to learn the balance of Godly love, which is both compassionately full of grace and firm in boundaries for protection and order.
There is nothing easy about parenting, but God has given us His handbook for living, which makes it simple in concept. Carrying it out IN LOVE mandates a full dependency on Him and His Sovereignty, because we surely cannot do these things without a heart after Him above all else.
Be strong, mamas of Yahweh. He will surely guide and strengthen your steps.
